Club OS, which provides sales and consumer-focused software to gyms, is in talks with Anytime Fitness, a franchise with 2,600 gyms in 16 countries, according to CEO Adam Stokar.
The four-year-old startup isย already in 300 health clubs, personal training companies, independent gyms and studios in more than 35 states, Stokar said. Larger clients include Retro Fitness, Xperience Fitness and Edge Fitness.

Club OS sells two kinds of customizable software: one for sales and marketing and one for gym members and personal trainers, which pairs with aย mobile app. Larger gymย companies can use Club OS to see sales data in real time across the organization, Stokar said. Customers pay between $300 and $500 per location per month.
Its competitors include companies like Canada-based In Touch, St. Louis, Mo.-based Club Ready and Nashville-based Lead Dolphin.
The company raised a friends and family round, Stokar said.
Stokar, 29, of Fairmount, used to be a developer at RightAction, the media buying platformย that’s sister companies with 50onRedย and Leadnomics. His team of ten is split between Center City’s Seed Philly, where Stokar and the engineering team work, and Austin, Texas, where Stokar’s original partnerย used to lead the company’s client services team. That partner has since resigned, but Stokar said he doesn’t have any plans to relocate the team just yet.
Club OSย was also one of Mike Krupit’sย first customers for his business coaching company, Trajectify.
