Gentrification to South Kensington has happened slowly in the last decade, as new renters, homeowners and modest new construction showed infill from nearby Northern Liberties and Fishtown.

The big projects are next, and with large scale development projects that bring hundreds of new people to changing neighborhoods quickly, there is apprehension.
