The coworking experience at The Mill just got better. Founder Robert Herrera just introduced a new star-studded speaker series. In partnership with the Nature Conservancy, the first talk focuses on “Envisioning a thriving Wilmington.”
The series will debut on Oct. 6 at 4:30 p.m. The venue? A rehabbed Theatre N at Nemours. The auditorium has been completely redesigned with a fresh coat of paint and carpeting. Global cities director Pascal Mittermaier and landscape architect Shane Coen will be giving talks on urban and environmental design with nature in mind.
Why is this event important? It’s continuing the conversation on urban development in Wilmington and the changes that have taken place in the city over the years.
You can sign up for the debut event here.
Panelists will include United Way of Delaware Chief Impact Officer Tyrone Jones, Delaware Center for Horticulture Executive Director Vikram Krishnamurthy, City of Wilmington Director of Economic Development Jeff Flynn and the Nature Conservancy’s Maria Dziembowska.
