Listen to artist Matt Parker explain why screens are played out

Games can be cool in real life, too. It's like — get this — VR but just R.

One of the cool things about living in Brooklyn is that there are off-the-wall creative people and events at about the same rate as normal people and normal events in other places.

With that said, check out Matt Parker at the NYU Game Center tonight. He’ll be talking about how games and visual experiences don’t just have to exist on a screen. They can be even cooler if they exist in real life.

Parker is a digital artist and a professor at the NYU Game Center, as well as a founding chair of IndieCade East.
He speaks at 7 p.m. Wednesday night on the 8th floor of 2 Metrotech Center.
