The need for technology workers in Baltimore is outpacing other major metropolitan areas, according to a new report published by an online job search agency.
SimplyHired.com released its July 2012 U.S. Employment Outlook last week. According to the report, there are more than four million job openings as of June. In Baltimore alone, there are more than 59,000 job openings. The Baltimore-Towson area, according to SimplyHired.com, is the best place nationwide to look for tech jobs, beating out Seattle and New York City along with seven other cities. Nationwide, based on job openings listed on SimplyHired.com, there are more than 140,000 job openings in the technology sector.
