TechBreakfast is going beyond demos this week.
A special edition that’s being billed as Patriot TechBreakfast is looking to reach out to veterans, and features insight from a keynote speaker and investors.
It’s a combination of TechBreakfast’s format and recent move toward expanded programming. The March 24 event is being held at the Fort Meade-adjacent Chesapeake Innovation Center, which has existing ties to the veteran startup community.

The keynote speaker is Kenneth McCreedy, the former garrison commander at Fort Meade and current senior director of the Maryland Commerce Department’s Office of Cybersecurity & Aerospace.
Along with officials from TEDCO and Anne Arundel County, the investor panel will include former NASDAQ President Alfred Berkeley and Hivers and Strivers founder Doug Doan.
And, this being TechBreakfast, there will be startup demonstrations and exhibitions.
