Baltimore is the home of an industry newsletter for cybersecurity in the form of The CyberWire. Now, the newsletter’s publishers over at CyberPoint International are getting into podcasting.
The CyberWire is launching a pair of podcasts on the cybersecurity industry. A daily podcast is slated to be available for afternoon commutes every day, and a week-in-review podcast will publish on Fridays.
The company said the podcasts include content that is not found in the daily newsletter. They’ll have industry experts as guests, and feature educational segments. As part of the latter, The CyberWire is partnering with educational institutions. The first are the Johns Hopkins University Information Security Institute (JHUISI), the University of Maryland’s Maryland Cybersecurity Center (MC2) and the University of Maryland Center for Health & Homeland Security (CHHS).
JHUISI is on the first episode.
