Allovue named a new chief financial officer this week.
Craig Vaughan joins the Baltimore-based “edfintech” startup. The University of Maryland, College Park grad was formerly a senior manager at PwC.
It’s one of the first big hires announced since Allovue closed on $1 million in seed funding in June. Allovue’s software, called Balance, allows K-12 teachers and administrators to track financial spending, and compare the financial data against education performance indicators.
