Groove Commerce is aiming for seven figures with its new division.
The digital ad and ecommerce company formed the Enterprise Paid Advertising Division last week, and named Senior Paid Advertising Manager Katie Carlson as its leader.
The new division is specifically designed for clients with budgets that exceed $1 million. The eight-year-old agency, which is based on Central Avenue, already offers paid advertising services.
“We will ensure that by carving out this focus we are putting the attention to the technology, people and detail we need to support this initiative,” said Groove Executive Vice President Mack McGee.
McGee said Groove already has million-dollar clients, but declined to name them. He said the division will grow as more clients are added.
An announcement said that the new division represents Groove’s ability to “evolve and grow.” Along with seeking to attract bigger clients, McGee intimated that the new division can help address the transition in the paid advertising industry amid the growth of programmatic — or automated — ad campaigns.
“Behind bid platforms and automated bidding, still lies a bigger dialogue around how this large sales channel can be optimized to impact a business,” McGee said in a statement.
