While much of the country’s attention is turned toward a developing story of impropriety at the IRS and the seizure of AP phone records by the Department of Justice, President Obama talked jobs, the economy and investing in infrastructure when he came to Baltimore on Friday.
He delivered remarks to almost 800 people at Ellicott Dredges, manufacturers of dredging equipment and based in the Carroll-Camden Industrial Area of the city, as part of his Middle Class Jobs and Opportunity Tour.
“The middle class will always be my number one focus, period,” he said in his prepared remarks.
