To all Philly tourists (and those of you with burning questions about the city): the Independence Visitor Center has got you.
The Center will be rolling out a marketing campaign directing tourists to tweet them with any questions they have: from “How long is the line at the Liberty Bell?” to the still inevitable “Where’s the best cheestesteak in South Philly?”
You’ll want to toss those questions over @PHLVisitorCntr.
Albert Lee, Community and Content Manager for the Center (and the man whose business card literally reads Mr. Philadelphia), says he hopes it can be a service like Philly’s city service line 311.
Lee says someone will be available to answer Twitter questions in real time during the weekdays up until early evening and on weekends, too. The service will soon be advertised on a SEPTA bus and on bus stations, Lee says.
So, @PHLVisitorCntr, we’ll bite, where IS the best cheesesteak in South Philly?
