NeXt on Lancaster Ave.: Check out what Lancaster Ave. has to offer for creative and technology communities in this Second Friday celebration. We here at Technically Philly are partnering with Drexel, the People’s Emergency Center, the ExCITE Center, Flying Kite and others on the event. Friday, 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. 38th & Lancaster Avenue, 3848-52 Lancaster Avenue. West Philly. RSVP. Free.

8static Fourth Anniversary at PhilaMOCA: Celebrate the fourth anniversary of the electronic chipmusic event with several 8static alumni. Saturday, 7:00 p.m. PhilaMOCA, 531 N 12th Street. Callowhill. RSVP. $7-$10.

PhillyCORE Leaders and Councilman Bill Green present: SEED (Supporting Entrepreneurship in Education) 2.0: Learn about innovative education projects (see the presenters here) at this event, where one project will win $5,000 in funding. Wednesday, 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. City Council Chambers, City Hall, Broad and Market Sts.
