For those interested in the world of podcasting, some of the industry’s superstars are on display tonight down at the Bell House, in Gowanus.
The night’s event looks good. It’s called “Reality Check!” and was organized by the Third Coast International Audio Festival.
Appearing will be Alex Blumberg, cofounder of Gimlet Media; Jenna Weiss-Berman of Pineapple Street Media; N’Jeri Eaton of NPR; and Julie Shapiro of Radiotopia.

They will answer questions like: What makes a successful podcast? How do you market it? What are the benefits of hosting live shows? When and how do you join a podcast network? What new innovations are on the horizon?
Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door.
