There are more than 80 events scheduled this week, and they’re all fast selling and offering insight into the community. So you’re going to want to check the full calendar.

Still, in honor of the second annual Philly Tech Week presented by AT&T, this week, let’s highlight a handful that still have spots and are among our favorites: catch a new different showcase every day over lunch, learn about mobile at lightning speed, see Wharton business plan finalists compete, see five startups demo in front of the Mayor, and close it all out with an open bar and robots at the Philly Tech Week Signature Event.

Get ready for a crazy week.

Lunchtime Series: The lunchtime series runs throughout PTW at WHYY. Grab lunch and catch the OpenAccsessPhilly Showcase, the Civic Engagement In Science Showcase, the PlanPhilly Tax Delinquency App Demo, the WHAT IT TAKES to be a Black Tech Entrepenuer”  panel, and the Unity Videogame Showcase.   Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. 12:00pm-1:00pm. WHYY. FREE.

Mobile Lightning: A fast-paced evening of five minute lightning talks about cutting-edge mobile topics. Learn from and mingle with the mobile leaders in the community. Tuesday. 6:00pm-8:00pm. Seed Philly, Center City. $5. RSVP.

Wharton Business Plan Competition Venture Finals: In the culminating event of its annual business plan competition, eight finalist teams will present present their business plans to a panel of judges who will choose three teams to walk away with up to $115,000 in cash and prizes. Wednesday. 1:00pm-6:30pm. Jon Huntsman Hall, University City. RSVP.

Switch Philly: Five Philly startups will demo in front of three judges — Mayor Michael Nutter, Josh Kopelman, Ellen Weber — and attendees to determine the winner of a prize pack that includes free office space and meetings with local investors.Wednesday. 6:00pm-7:15pm. Levitt Auditorium, Center City. $10. RSVP.

Philly Tech Week Signature Event: Open bar and appetizer cocktail reception meets locally-produced technology expo. You’ll see video games developed in Center City, Kinnect-based virtual reality from University City, an iPad caricaturist, ROBOTS and more. Friday. 6:00pm-9:00pm. Moore College of Art and Design, Center City. $30. RSVP.
