Our technology community is more than full of events. So many, in fact, that we thought it might be helpful to curate them for you.
So, come to expect it: every Monday morning, we’ll highlight the best three or four events worth attending that week. To be sure, most of the events that our community puts on rock, so we’ll try our best to highlight new events too, in addition to the best of the best.
This week, the Baltimore-Washington Tech Meetup comes to the county, Ron Schmelzer’s Tech Breakfast rides again, DiversiTech brings together a broader rainbow of technologists and an hackers descend upon an art museum to code, with $5,000 in prizes up for grabs.

Mobile for Education: Technology in the 21st Century Classroom: Mindgrub Technologies president and CEO Todd Marks talks technology and schools at this local outpost of the monthly Baltimore-Washington Tech Meetup on Tuesday evening. Baltimore Tech Breakfast: This Wednesday’s BTB will be the second at its new location at the DLA Piper Building in Mt. Washington, beginning at 8 a.m. Kicking off the event will be DJ 5starr, otherwise known as Be More STEM CEO Kendrick Tilghman, who uses the power of the turntable to pique kids’ interest in technology. Wednesday, July 25 8:00 a.m. DLA Piper, 6225 Smith Avenue Mt, Washington, Baltimore County 21209. DiversiTech meetup: The fifth DiversiTech meetup takes place Thursday at Langermann’s in Canton Teavolve Cafe in Harbor East. Join fellow Baltimore- and D.C.-based entrepreneurs for a happy hour, as DiversiTech continues to “provide minorities in technology with networking opportunities, resources and educational programming in an effort to sufficiently connect these populations with tools needed to be successful in today’s technology startup space.” Thursday, July 26 5:00 p.m. Langermann’s  2400 Boston Street, Canton, Baltimore city. Art Bytes Hackathon: Join techies, creative types and art connoisseurs at the Art Bytes hackathon at the Walters Art Museum for a weekend of development inspired by the challenges museums face in a digitally-connected world.
