Honest Buildings has partnered with Consolidated Edison to run a program showing office buildings how to increase their energy efficiency. Honest Buildings is a member of NYU’s clean energy incubator, ACRE.

Honest Buildings’ tools will help the energy customers analyze data and organize energy output in their buildings.

Con Ed “will use the platform as part of its Energy Efficiency Marketplace initiative,” according to a release. “The Marketplace will help building owners determine where they can make energy efficiency upgrades, buy the goods and services they need for their upgrades, and manage their projects.”

The ACRE incubator is part of the NYU Future Labs. It helps startups working in the clean-tech space connect with investors and mentors to facilitate growth. We recently profiled one of the incubator’s bigger success stories, HEVO Power, which is building wireless electric chargers for cars.
