There’s a new STEAM-focused after-school program for students, Newsworks and the Public School Notebook both recently reported.
Named Full STEAM Ahead, the free program offers workshops on science, technology, engineering, arts and math and serves 350 students from five schools in Northwest Philadelphia. The Philadelphia Center for Arts & Technology runs the program, with funding from the 21st Century Community Learning Center.
