It’s a big week for us here at Technically Philly as we buckle down to put the finishing touches on Switch, our latest event that will feature five companies demoing the cool new things they are working on. We’d guess that if you’re reading this you might be interested in getting your tickets today.
But enough about us. This week: hang with YIP, learn how the iPad can help you run your business, get to know Drupal and get your unconference on with Podcamp.

Monday, September 27th: Long before there was a shiny Apple Store on Walnut Street, the guys at Springboard were teaching us all how to use our Macs. The guys keep tradition alive with their latest workshop: How to use the iPad to administer your business. Disclaimer: Springboard is a Technically Philly advertiser. 5 p.m. Rittenhouse. INFO.
Monday, September 27th: Technically Philly is proud to sponsor Young Involved Philadelphia’s Imagining Philadelphia’s Future, a discussion about entrepreneurship in the city. Speakers include Kerry Rupp of DreamIt Ventures, David Calabrese of SeventySixCapital and more. 6:30 p.m. Center City. RSVP.
Tuesday, September 28th: Learn Drupal from the area’s two top Drupal development shops: Rock River Star and Zivtech. Both businesses will be on hand to talk about the companies using Drupal and how you can get started with the open source content management system. 5:30 p.m. University City. RSVP
Saturday, October 2nd: Now in its third year, Podcamp Philly is one of the best ways to get plugged into the local blogging and podcasting communities. Great for beginners in blogging, social media and podcasting, Podcamp is held unconference-style. However, sessions were proposed before the event, so you can plan your day before you take the Broad Street Line to Temple. 8:00 a.m. North Philadelphia. RSVP.

Companies: PANMA / Podcamp / SeventySix Capital / Young Involved Philadelphia / Zivtech
