Obviously, driverless cars will have a huge impact on the automotive industry, whenever they become a reality. But just as the internet changed our entire worlds beyond just communicating with each other, how will driverless cars impact sectors like real estate, where commutes might not be as big a deal, shipping and more?

Start Up Your Autonomous Engines” is a panel discussion being put on by Greenpoint accelerator Urban-X next Tuesday evening. It will be moderated by journalist and thinker Greg Lindsay and will feature:

  • Trina Van Pelt, IoT managing director at Intel Capital
  • Micah Kotch, managing director at Urban-X
  • Shaun Abrahamson, managing partner at Urban US
  • Alex Lavoie, general manager at Via US

The night will also feature a “Startup Alley” showcasing Urban-X’s current cohort of startups (a rundown of which you can check out here).

The talk is free and open to the public, with RSVP.
