Apply to pitch your startup to VCs with ‘The Pitch’ podcast

Startups have until July 31 to try to get on the show, which is basically “Shark Tank” for the Gimlet set.

For startup founders, getting in front of a venture capitalist can be hard. But here’s a chance to get in front of not just a VC, but a whole bunch of interested people listening.

Gimlet Media’s new podcast The Pitch is accepting applications from startups who want to get in front of VCs for its new season. The Pitch is a bit like Shark Tank but with more detail, more story about the startups and more detail into the VCs’ decision making and negotiating.

According to the show, “Twelve finalists will each pitch for 45-minutes to 1-hour to our 5 member investor panel. If an investor is interested, they will make an offer to invest on the spot (pending the needed due-diligence after the event).”

The Pitch was acquired last month by Downtown Brooklyn’s Gimlet (which just signed a lease for a swanky new office).

Those accepted will make up the third season of the show.

Applications are open until July 31.
