If you blinked, you might have missed it: Zonoff is growing fast.
The smart-home company raised a $31.8 million Series B last December. Back then, they were at 45 employees. Now they’re at 70 and plan to jump to 100 in the next six months, Chief Marketing Officer Kevin Garton told us at the signature event for Philly Tech Week 2015 presented by Comcast.
Zonoff also just moved into a new two-story, 35,000-square-foot office in Malvern. It’s three times the size of Zonoff’s former office, and its pride and joy is a demo suite designed to look like a home, where potential partners can experience Zonoff’s technology.

The company held a ribbon cutting late last month, attended by U.S. Congressman Ryan Costello and state commerce deputy secretary Neil R. Weaver.
Zonoff is also offering a shuttle from the Malvern SEPTA station to the new office, Garton said. It’s a nod to the fact that as Zonoff grows, it will likely need to tap into the city’s talent pool.

The company also made four leadership hires, including:
- Doug Bellenger, who is now VP of products. Bellenger was formerly at DirecTV and was also the COO of Chuck Sacco’s PhindMe. Bellenger has also been on the board of Philly Startup Leaders.
- Garton, who oversees marketing and business development as Chief Marketing Officer. He was previously Neat Company’s Chief Marketing Officer.
- Peter Gerstberger, who is now VP and GM of retail. He was formerly Staples’ director of new business development. Staples is one of Zonoff’s biggest retail partners.
- Chris Hughes, now CFO. He was previously the CFO of Shunra Software, which was acquired by HP in 2014.
See photos of their new office below. The office is in a big complex and Zonoff shares a building with Allstate.
