Need a glass of water ASAP, but afraid you might miss an important VC coming by your expo booth? The Walter E. Washington Convention Center has come up with a solution: a mobile food-and-beverage delivery platform.
To implement the new service, Events DC is partnering with with District-based Dasdak, which also runs the ordering service at RFK Stadium (still home to soccer club D.C. United) and several other stadiums.
“Technology trends in events continue to be a strategy to strengthen and enrich attendee engagement,” said Events DC CEO Gregory A. O’Dell in a press release. “Building on the Convention Center’s innovative capabilities, Dasdak will be an important tool to better serve our clients and generate additional revenue streams.”
