Insurance software firm UniRisX raises $11.5M [Startup Roundup]

NewSpring Capital invests $8 million in an online publisher, First Round Capital backs a photo-sharing app and more.

WHO’S GETTING FUNDED?

Radnor-based NewSpring Capital invested $8 million in an $11 million round for New York City-based online publisher Open Road Integrated Media, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

First Round Capital participated in a $1.6 million round for San Francisco-based photo-sharing app Cluster, AllThingsD reported.

Cherry Hill, N.J.-based biotech firm BioIncept raised $1.8 million, according to an SEC filing. BioIncept develops treatments for immune disorders, according to the LinkedIn of one of its advisors.

Insurance software firm UniRisX, based near the Philadelphia Airport, raised $11.5 million, according to an SEC filing.
