The Wilmington Public Library is hosting free pop-up makerspace events for kids and teens over two days this week.
The first is Tuesday, from 2-4 p.m., and participants will build bottle rockets that they’ll get to test across the street in Rodney Square.
Then on Thursday, also from 2-4 p.m., the library will give children and teens a particular problem, and they’ll build a small model of an invention to solve it.
The events are ages 5 and up. It’s free but you have to register by calling 302-571-7400 ext. 2412.
