Spot It Buy It CEO Allison Berliner: Philly’s startup community is ‘super helpful’

In our latest Startup Sitdown video, the CEO of the social ecommerce platform talks about her company — and the challenges of prioritization.

“When we asked small and medium retailers what their biggest problem was, 70 percent mentioned Instagram,” Spot It Buy It CEO Allison Berliner said in a video interview with Technical.ly Philly. “Businesses want to be selling through social media and we help make that possible.”
The DreamIt Ventures grad has been working out of the Venturef0rth coworking space and is having a blast with her team.

“DreamIt gave me access to an amazing community of like-minded entrepreneurs,” Berliner said. “Now that it’s over, we still keep in touch and rely on one another to bounce ideas around and troubleshoot problems. Those conversations are invaluable.”
