During Make Music Philly, last week’s city-wide free music festival, local band Southwork test drove a balloon camera. It kind of looked like the movie “Up” but instead of a house, the balloons carried a video camera.
The band, which includes South Philly comic book writer Tony Trov, performed in Fishtown and used the balloon camera footage for a music video for its song “Where I’ll Stay.” Watch it below.
Southwork likes experimenting with music videos. Check out its video for “Gift of Love,” which was filmed entirely with an Android Galaxy phone.
