SPLT graduated from the Techstars accelerator program at Detroit’s Ford Field in 2015. It has caught the eye of both environmentalists looking to reduce CO2 emissions from car use and large companies, including DTE Energy, hoping to encourage employee ridesharing when public transportation is scarce.

The on-demand company has been declared a “world-changer” by San Francisco’s Launch Festival and was one of four Michigan companies to be selected as a finalist for the 2016 Clean Energy Trust Challenge.

We’re looking forward to chatting with Babbitt about access to mobility in smaller cities, the Detroit entrepreneurial community, her experiences as a female founder and more. Join us.
