Philly Geek Awards 2012 will be held Aug. 17, tickets now live

An initial batch of 100 tickets for $15 were made live

The second annual Philly Geek Awards will be held Friday, Aug. 17, announced the organizing Geekadelphia team during Philly Tech Week.

An initial batch of 100 tickets for $15 were made live here.

In making the announcement, the Geekadelphia team, led by co-founder Eric Smith, dropped a new website and announced the categories. The event will be again held at the Academy of Natural Sciences on the Ben Franklin Parkway.
