Urban Outfitters is opening a distribution center in Lancaster County to accommodate growing online and catalog sales, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported. The 1.2 million square foot center is slated to open in the summer of 2015 and will employ 500.
The retail giant will also expand its Navy Yard headquarters over the next six years, adding 2,000 jobs, the Inquirer reported. Read more about Urban Outfitters’ focus on ecommerce here.
