Nominations in the Baltimore Sun‘s fifth annual Mobbies competition close at 5 p.m. today. The Mobbies recognizes blogs and social media accounts in the Baltimore region in 21 different categories.

New to this year’s Mobbies is an Editor’s Choice award, said Sun community coordinator Michael Gold: “Sun staff can recognize a blog that provides original, thoughtful content regardless of its rank in the voting phase.”
Voting for winners begins Nov. 4, and ends Nov. 14 at 5 p.m.
