We’ll just spare you any dumb cheesesteak-Big Apple references and get right to the info.
There’s an interesting meetup going down this Wednesday at Quorum that we think you should go to — if only to rep your hometown as it hosts tech doers and makers from New York. It’s called Maker Meetup: NYC meets Philly.
It’s a packed schedule from 6:00 p.m. on.
Here’s the lineup:
From Philly:
- Kurt Dudley and Doug Farber, Orange Maker cofounders
- Bevan Weissman, cofounder of New American Public Art
From NYC:
- Dr. Linh Le, founder of FlexTraPower
For the keynote presentation, we’ll hear from New York-based Canary Security Systems cofounder and CEO Chris Rill.
Here’s what he said at a recent TEDx talk on the subject of privacy and IoT:

Attendants at Quorum will also spot Marvin Weinberger, CEO of ecommerce site American Certified, and organizer of this very meetup.
See you there?
