HealthVerity, a Center City health IT startup, has raised $7.2 million in a round led by Boston-based Flare Capital Partners and NYC/LA-based Greycroft Partners.
CEO Andrew Kress declined to share more details.
The company makes “technologies and software tools for the discovery and integration of optimal patient data sets.” It has an office in Center City at 100 N. 20th St.
It’s currently hiring a handful of engineers and a sales director. The engineering team is led by John Cappiello, Solve Media’s former EVP of product, and includes former Monetate engineer Patrick O’Brien and former Artisan Mobile engineer Jim Snavely.
Flare Capital’s Michael Greeley and Greycroft advisor Rachel Winokur joined the board, along with Matt Wallach, cofounder and president of Philly-based life sciences company.
Greycroft has invested in at least one Philly startup before: social selling company PeopleLinx.
