How venture-backed Greenphire donates to charity

Six years after its launch, Greenphire has processed one million clinical trial payments on its platform, according to a release. But the venture-backed King of Prussia company hit another milestone in 2013: it collected more than 400 items of clothing in a company-wide clothing drive for Dress for Success Philadelphia.

Six years after its launch, Greenphire has processed one million clinical trial payments on its platform, according to a release.

But the venture-backed King of Prussia company hit another milestone in 2013: it collected more than 400 items of clothing in a company-wide clothing drive for Dress for Success Philadelphia.

The company hosted a number of other charitable programs, according to a spokeswoman, including

  • holding a nail art competition to raise money for breast cancer research
  • hosting a staff version of Movember
  • helping out at the “Barn Raising of West Philadelphia charter school KIPP Dubois, where volunteers help get the school ready for the first day of class

Greenphire employes 50, up from 40 last January, and its CEO Sam Whitaker was named on the PharmaVOICE 100, a “who’s who” in the life sciences industry.
