Just days after the announcement of a service area expansion, Ivy City-based Galley has more news: the company will now make your kids’ lunches for you.
The idea is that busy parents can add a lunch (or two or three) to their dinner delivery, and skip the hassle of preparing lunch in the mornings. A Galley spokesperson told Technical.ly the new addition is “based on customer feedback that coming up with a creative and healthy lunch is one of the hardest tasks for parents each day.”
The menu options, which include things like a cheese quesadilla paired with fruit, veggies and a cookie, are $6 each.
Galley currently delivers in much of D.C. and into northern Virginia — the most recently added service areas are Ballston and Virginia Square. The one-and-a-half-year-old startup also delivers in Baltimore.
