According to a Form D filing, ElectNext is raising $750,000. The DreamIt Ventures grad and current Project Liberty resident recently announced deals with the National Constitution Center and The Economist for its candidate-voter matching platform.

DreamIt grads Take the Interview (NYC) and Sqoot (Philly) presented at the rapid-fire pitch event in The 67th Ward titled “Ultra Light Startups Feedback Forum and Pitch Showdown.” The accelerator also announced an e-commerce advisory board this week and had a strong presence at SXSW in Austin.

MentorTech Ventures and Robin Hood Ventures were named in a $1.5 million financing round for Molecular Detection, a Wayne-based biotech company that focuses on disease detection.

As we reported last week, Ben Franklin Technology Partners is on the lookout for clean tech companies in the region. The fund is holding a special briefing and interested companies must sign up by March 23.
