Zirx, a San Francisco-based mobile app for commissioning valet parking, is expanding to new neighborhoods in D.C.
Starting this week, Georgetown and Capitol Hill users will be able to hire valet service for their car for $15 a day.
The company expanded here in January, making D.C. one of only two East Coast markets. It’s also its fastest growing market, according to Skyler Logsdon, a growth and partnership rep.
A couple interesting facts about D.C.’s Zirx users: one-third own a Honda or Toyota, and they are 50 percent more likely than their San Francisco counterparts to be on Android.
Zirx launched in July 2014, and has already racked up a $6.4 million Series A and a $30 million Series B.
