September is here (already? Finally? YMMV). It’s a huge reset for a lot of us, whether you’re a college student, teacher, mentor or parent. Technical.ly is making some adjustments in Delaware, too — all good things.
As you may have heard, Technical.ly was awarded a two-year, $250,000 Longwood Foundation catalyst grant over the summer, and that means more of a focus on Delaware to reach our goal of making the state’s tech economy more accessible and competitive.
In the past year, you might have noticed that there were fewer Delaware-focused articles coming out, as my role focused more on multi-market stories, and a weekly Delaware newsletter featuring a full article as a preview for our subscribers.
In my new role as senior reporter, I’m back to a daily focus on Delaware.
Starting next week, we’re increasing the number of weekly newsletters from one to two, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Each will include a short article about something happening in the Delaware ecosystem. We’ll also be trying some new things. You might find a contest (no sharing your friends’ info, we promise) or a question of the week. And, of course, you’ll be able to keep up with an increased number of Delaware content pieces on the site.
Our plan is to go back to a daily (four days a week) newsletter — but we want to know what you think! How many Delaware-focused newsletters do you want every week from Technical.ly ? What kind of content do you want in the newsletter? What kind of stories do you want to see in general?
Let us know by dropping me a direct line at holly@technical.ly or joining the Delaware channel on our Technical.ly public Slack. You can also follow me on LinkedIn and Instagram.
Looking forward to seeing more of you!
