The year in gorgeous videos of Philadelphia

No, you’re not the only one who had a bit of a crazy year. As 2016 clocks down, Philly’s own Cory Popp looks back on what his year was like, both personally and professionally.
“2016 was pretty insane for me,” Popp writes in an email. “My wife and I had our first child in March, our daughter is almost 10 months now. As for my work, my favorite video has to have been Philadelphia in Motion, which had over 250,000 views on Facebook. The Rail Park video was also another of my favorites.”
To sum up his 2016 work, Popp made the two-minute-long vid you see below, chock full of that insufferable loveliness we’ve come to know and love:

Yes, it was a lovely year. But what’s the artist envisioning for 2017? Any resolutions?
“I would LOVE to get into 360° videos so people could really feel like they are there in the moment,” Popp writes. “360° cameras are just starting to become more realistically affordable, so I’m considering it.”
Looking forward to that 360° ‘tent, Cory Popp.
