Yes, the fifth annual Philly Tech Week Presented by Comcast officially kicks off today.
And though we’ve beeb doing more on our @Technical_ly Instagram account lately, we haven’t kept up our @PhillyTechWeek Insta life. That will change for the next 10 days, at least.

Catch images from around the week curated there — and add your own using #PTW15. To help jumpstart this Insta shindig, we’ve enlisted our friend Conrad Benner, the photographer behind street art blog Streets Dept (and its wonderful Twitter and Instagram accounts). He’ll be contributing to our Instagram feed today as he begins his own Philly Tech Week schedule.
Here’s where he’ll be:
- MORNING: Fuel Up for Philly Tech Week at La Colombe in Fishtown
- EARLY AFTERNOON: #TechniCulture hosted by the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance at the Chemical Heritage Foundation (8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.)
- LATE AFTERNOON: Philly Startup Crawl — Ticketleap, 2401 Walnut St., 6th Floor (4-8 p.m.)
- EVENING: Arcade @ Dilworth (6-9 p.m.) (Update: Due to inclement weather, the kickoff event has been postponed to Saturday, April 18, from 6-9 p.m.)
