Have you ever hung out with your friends having some good (or, at least, hilarious) conversation and thought, “This could be a show”? Four Delaware friends went ahead and did it — they started podcasting their talks, added some beer and called it Beer Talk Delaware.
For nearly a year, the Beer Talk Delaware podcast has aired weekly on Blog Talk Radio. Rosie, Dude, Cross and Daws have talked (and laughed) about everything from current events to sports to weird news to, of course, beer. On a good day, they also feature musical guests like Delaware-born rappers Macc Boney and JM Vercetti.
The setup is pretty basic: MacBook Pro, 6-channel mixer, 6-channel headphone amp and wireless headphones, but as the show gains followers by the week, its creators look forward to future tech improvements.
If you want beer snobbery, move along. Beer Talk doesn’t take itself too seriously, and it’s not afraid to be crude. Like a morning radio show with drinking or, as they describe it, “kind of like water cooler talk but with beer involved.”
