Consider it another tick mark in the “robotics capital of the world” column.

A dozen-plus robotics and AI companies from around the region showcased their products and progress as a part of the sixth annual AI & Robotics Venture Fair co-hosted by Carnegie Mellon University and Innovation Works. The Monday event signaled the end of the inaugural XchangeInnovation Week, and was also part of the Cascadia Connect conference being held in Pittsburgh through May 3.

From agriculture tech startups to medtech companies developing regenerative medications, execs shared their stories with a room of investors, founders and technologists. The goal was for attendees to walk away with a better understanding of the companies present, and for company founders to get the chance to gain new funding sources. (Here’s a rundown of last year’s event, where five founders told us what they need to thrive in Pittsburgh.)

Here’s who pitched to close out Innovation Week, from the Rust Belt and beyond:

Adrich (Pittsburgh)

PickNik (Boulder)
