360VR Technology, a University of Delaware-born startup that was recently ranked #4 on our RealLIST Startups 2020, was selected as an alternate in SXSW Pitch 2020 in the category of Innovative World Technologies.

Fifty finalists and 30 alternates were selected out of 937 applicants. Each of the 10 pitch categories — including the likes of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Voice, AR/VR and Blockchain — has five finalists and three alternates; if finalists drop out, the alternates are bumped up to compete in the event (and it does happen).

The two-day event will be held over the first weekend of SXSW Conference & Festivals on March 14 and 15 culminating with the 2020 SXSW Pitch Awards Ceremony on March 15, where winning startups from each category and a Best in Show winner will be announced.

Previously, 360VR Technology participated in SXSW’s Student Startup Madness Startup of the Year.
