Spotted on the Baltimore Tech Jobs Facebook group: The Laurel-based marketing and branding agency is hiring a web developer who will focus on creating websites in open source CMS platforms including WordPress and Drupal. Also among the qualifications is experience coding in PHP.
UMBC is seeking faculty in computer science and computer engineering.
Professors wanted in Baltimore County. The institution’s Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering has openings for tenured and tenure-track positions that start in the fall 2019 semester. The Ph.D-level positions combine research and teaching, but the area of expertise are open to “all areas of specialization.”
Blackpoint Cyber is looking for a senior sales engineer.
The Ellicott City-based cybersecurity company is seeking an experienced candidate with knowledge of defensive cyber solutions. The sales engineer will work with the Blackpoint’s sales and engineering teams on security solutions to fit a client. The company, which makes a platform called SNAP-Defense that maps network devices and isolates threats to stop them from spreading, raised $6 million in 2018.
