The Millennial Summit, a first-of-its-kind conference for young professionals in Delaware, is back this summer — and Technical.ly is proud to announce that we are an official media sponsor for the 2020 event, to be held virtually Aug. 3 through 5.

If you didn’t snag your tickets last week while early bird pricing was in effect, catch a 10% discount with the code TECHNICALLY20; a portion of the ticket sales from those using this code will go toward the Techncial.ly Journalism Fund and to our reporting, both by our newsroom and via additional freelance writing.

This year’s MillSummit, themed “20/20 Vision,” will be three full days with over 30 hours of programming, panels and speakers providing practical tips, networking opportunities and other live content.

The event will kick at 9 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 3, with a fireside chat with NERDiT NOW’s Markevis Gideon and Jake Voorhees talking about their experience on ABC’s “Shark Tank last year. After a day of entrepreneurship panels, it will end with a keynote and fireside chat with entrepreneur/investor John Henry, cofounder of the nonprofit incubator Cofound Harlem, a former venture partner at Harlem Capital Partners and former host of VICE TV’s “Hustle.”

Day 2 will focus on leadership and wellness, with highlights including panels on adaptability, diversity and networking, as well as a Millennial Health Forum and a breakout session for creatives called “Welcome to the ‘Ronaissance — Navigating the post-COVID art scene through collaboration and innovation.”

The focus on Day 3 will be economic development, social media and nonprofits, and will include a nonprofit pitch competition and an afternoon of breakout sessions, including a Delaware-specific economic development panel moderated by Technical.ly Delaware reporter Holly Quinn (more on that later).

Here’s the full three-day schedule, with more to be announced. In addition to keynote speaker Henry and the NERDiT partners, speakers will include:
