Dust off your cape and add a laser to your blazer: The Philly Tech Week 2020 Signature Event will wrap up the week in style on Friday, May 8 at Cira Green, our city’s park in the sky.

The Signature Event is the closing party for Philly Tech Week 2020 presented by Comcast. At this annual shindig, the tech and innovation community will come together to celebrate Philly Tech Week in an evening filled with dance, demos and dynamite connections. This event is for everyone: nerds, suits, civil servants, cosplay enthusiasts and more. If you’ve never been to this event, imagine a cocktail reception mixed with an interactive tech demo — it’s quirky, stimulating and just plain ol’ fun. Plus, there will be an open bar with free wine and beer.

If you thought last year’s Signature Event was impressive, get ready for a unique experience encouraging you to showcase your inner cosplayer. For the dress code, the category is Nerd Met Gala realness. We want to see the wearable tech and costumes that you’ve been dying to pull out of your closet. We’re channeling the energy of the beloved Philly Geek Awards and taking it to the next level for the 10th annual PTW.

However, if you don’t want to dress up, you are always welcome to come as you are! We’re working with Cosplay Philadelphia to organize a DIY cape station, cosplayer exhibition, games, prizes and more — so you’ll have an opportunity to join in on the festivities. We don’t want to give up all of the secrets now, but subscribe to the PTW20 newsletter for updates and stay on the lookout for future articles that will share more details:

Yes! I want updates about Philly Tech Weekhttps://js.hscta.net/cta/current.js hbspt.cta.load(2084427, ‘5feff30d-a52c-4376-a626-3b71765a1b5d’, {});

As we dance the night away, you’ll be able to overlook the city at Cira Green. This elevated park located in the heart of University City is known to be a destination like no other. With 31,322 square feet of space, this venue has enough room for you, your colleagues, pals and even your pup (weather permitting). So we’re encouraging you to invite your entire network to this special event.

Don’t wait for the last minute to buy your ticket! The price to secure your spot is now $50 and it will increase.

There’s also still time to get involved. If you have a fun, interactive product or services that you would like to show-off to the PTW20 community, let us know by filling out the demo interest form.

After 10 pm, we’ll keep the party going with our buds REC Philly downstairs at The Post. RSVP here.
