Last week, we introduced some of the inspiring thought-leaders you can expect to see at Philly Tech Week 2018 presented by Comcast’s Dev Talks on May 2 at Temple University. Well, we ain’t done yet, folks. That’s not all she wrote. The fat lady has not sung. You get it, we have more for you.

Today we present even more of the lineup, featuring innovative thinkers and tech experts speaking on trending issues across AI & Machine Learning, Blockchain & Cryptocurrency, Leadership & Soft Skills and Big Ideas.

Aditi Sriram & Mike McCoy

• ConsenSys coworkers. Ethereum enthusiasts. Blockchain buds. Call ‘em what you will, Sriram, a Business Analyst, and McCoy, Ecosystem Development/Campus Engagement Lead, are teaming up to throw down some serious knowledge on “ConsenSys ethereum protocols and how to learn the best practices to build web 3.0.” Read this before showing up if you wanna seem smart: “We’re commoditizing trust in the same way that in 1996 the internet commoditized how humans communicate.”

Fraser Stirling

• In the AI & Machine Learning room, Stirling will explore Xfinity’s approach to “Product Design.” As Comcast’s SVP of Product & Hardware Management, he is the resident expert in device development, including launching the first voice-controlled remote, rescuing tired thumbs everywhere.

Liz Brown

• Most recently co-CEO and Head of Design at Webjunto, Brown is modern day Renaissance woman in tech. She’s earned two master’s degrees and worked as a designer/developer, urban planner, civic hacker and public speaker. We’re not 100 percent sure when she finds time to sleep, but we’re 200 percent sure you should catch her talk on “Building Better Cross Functional Teams.”

Christoph DeMaskey

• DeMaskey is the Software Engineering Lead in Precision Medicine at Elsevier. His focus is facilitating the modernization of healthcare, which he’ll discuss in his talk, “Blockchain Opportunities in Healthcare.” We’re secretly hoping he takes a few minutes to explain his hobby for “roasting coffee in a modified popcorn popper.”

Emrah Ercan

• Director of Digital Strategy & Innovation at Suez Water Technologies, Ercan will take us through changing service models using AI and Machine Learning in Industrial Services. He’s been honored with a GE Corporate Innovation Award for his achievements in the digitalization of the global field service team.

Dan Berry

• Dan is borderline super human as the Head of Integrated Solutions at Nuix. He will take you through processing massive amounts of data in pursuit of transparency. So he’ll share a bit about how both humans and machines store, process and analyze data (no this is not an episode of Westworld, but sounds pretty close to it).

Lindsay Tabas

• Lindsay, also known as Lady Engineer™, will debunk common misconceptions technologists have about shipping products. You won’t be guessing anymore if your product has a market. You will get inside the mind of your customer, kind of how plankton controlled SpongeBob’s brain to get the secret crabby patty formula, duh.
