You have two more days to back RoundTrip as it tries to secure a slot in the final showdown of the 1776 Challenge Cup.
In October, the on-demand patient transportation startup beat out 11 other Philly companies like NeuroFlow and LeagueSide to rep Philly in the global matchup, which features about 60 semi-finalists from cities across the U.S. and the world.
“We come here today to implore 1776 and your powerful network to help us scale,” founder Mark Switaj said in his video pitch. “Help us move from a great year in 2017 to multiple markets, multiple clients, spanning coast to coast in 2018 and beyond.”
What’s in it for the company? A shot at a cool $100,000 at the Challenge Cup Global Finals, happening on March 22 in Washington, D.C.
Twenty companies will make the final cut and compete for the Revolution-funded grand prize.
“We are proud to partner with 1776 on the Challenge Cup because it is providing opportunity for more entrepreneurs from more places to access the support they need to grow their businesses,” Revolution Chairman and AOL cofounder Steve Case said in a press release. “Efforts like the Challenge Cup reinforce what we have always believed at Revolution: that great companies can indeed start and scale anywhere.”
