The University of Pennsylvania recently released the official video of the Pennovation grand opening, which took place in October last year.
Seems like just yesterday an ecstatic Amy Gutmann, the University’s president, cut the ribbon on Penn’s 58,000-square-foot research hub in Grays Ferry with the help of a pair of 3D printed scissors and a leapin’ lil robot.
In advance of the ceremony, Technical.ly took a tour of the facility and had a sneak peek at the cool perks, like the 40,000-square-foot coworking space run by Benjamin’s Desk, access to Brett Topche’s new-ish venture capital firm called Red & Blue and a pretty cool lookin’ drone tent.
