Seems like just yesterday an ecstatic Amy Gutmann, the University’s president, cut the ribbon on Penn’s 58,000-square-foot research hub in Grays Ferry with the help of a pair of 3D printed scissors and a leapin’ lil robot.
In advance of the ceremony, Technical.ly took a tour of the facility and had a sneak peek at the cool perks, like the 40,000-square-foot coworking space run by Benjamin’s Desk, access to Brett Topche’s new-ish venture capital firm called Red & Blue and a pretty cool lookin’ drone tent.-30-
