How about an app to help Philadelphians organize pickup sports games? Or one to let users geotag buildings that are “structurally compromised”?

Those are two of the nine ideas that the current PennApps Fellows are considering building as part of ProjectPHL.

The project is a way for PennApps Fellows, a group of high school and college students interning at Philly tech startups this summer, to give back to the community, according to PennApps organizers. The eight fellows and three directors will spend July building the project that gets the most votes.
