In one of the most infamous acts of 20th century Philadelphia, city cops, with mayoral approval, firebombed the West Philadelphia rowhome of a radical group called MOVE in 1985. A new documentary called Let the Fire Burn traces the events leading up to the bombing, which ended in 11 deaths.
Catch it at the Philadelphia Film Festival on Oct. 26 and at Ritz Theatres starting Nov. 1.
